This page gives a plain-language overview of data handling across UniqueBande. Public and private features are different, so check your visibility choices before publishing personal information.
When you create an account, UniqueBande may process details such as your name, email address, phone number and authentication information. Password handling is provided through the authentication service and passwords are not displayed to other members.
Some features are designed for public sharing. A public profile, community post or published portfolio can be viewed by other people. Profile visibility and public-contact choices should be reviewed before you publish personal information.
When you are signed in, UniqueBande may compare information in your profile, résumé and job preferences with published job details to provide match scores, strengths, gaps and job recommendations. These are automated estimates intended to help you decide what to review; they are not guarantees of eligibility, interviews or hiring. Always check the employer’s current requirements before applying.
Account-only areas such as private messages, private profile information, notifications and administrative records use access controls so they are not treated as ordinary public content. Only share information in a conversation that you are comfortable sending to its participants.
Features may let you upload a résumé, profile photo, portfolio media or other files. These files are used to provide the feature you selected. Review a file before uploading it and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.
When you actively use UniqueBande AI or résumé auto-fill, the text or file needed for that request may be sent to the configured AI provider so the requested result can be generated. AI features are optional; do not send highly sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
UniqueBande currently uses Supabase for account, database and storage services, Vercel for website hosting and delivery, and OpenAI for optional AI-powered features. External links, such as downloadable French books hosted on Google Drive, are governed by the destination service when you open them.
UniqueBande uses authentication, database access rules and other technical controls to protect non-public areas. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Use a password you do not reuse elsewhere, keep your account signed in only on trusted devices and report suspicious activity promptly.
